Kuvempu Kannada Sangha (KKS) of San Antonio, Texas is a Not for Profit 501 c (3) Organization. As per the Organization policy, KKS and its administration that includes members of the Executive committee and the Board of Directors, are not responsible or liable for personal injuries, accidents, losses, or damages that occur during various events organized by KKS. Execution of this document waives the right to bring claims in such matters. Please sign this waiver. This waiver is valid so long as the member continues to be in good standing and pays organization dues. This waiver is valid and applicable for non-members who participate in KKS activities.
In exchange for participation in KKS events and activities, I hereby agree as follows:
I and my family members are responsible for our safety during KKS events. I am fully aware of the inherent safety risks and hazards connected with the activities of KKS. I further hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless KKS from any loss, liability, damage, actions, judgments, or costs, including court costs and attorneys’ fees that KKS may incur due to my participation in KKS activities. This Waiver and Hold Harmless Agreement shall bind the members of my family and spouse. IN SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT, I ACKNOWLEDGE AND REPRESENT THAT I have read the foregoing Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement, understand it and sign it voluntarily as my own free act and deed; no oral representations, statements, or inducements, apart from the foregoing written agreement, have been made; I am atleast eighteen (18) years of age and fully competent; and I execute this Agreement for full, adequate and complete consideration fully intending to be bound by the same.
